Tyler Griffin was born on March 4, in Los Angeles California. His father, Patrick Griffin is of English/Irish descent and his mother, Ileane Rusch is of (mixed) African-American descent, but looking at this blonde hair, blue eyed kid, it's hard to believe! A third generation industry kid, music and movies has been a BIG part of his young life! His Grandmother was singer/actress and vocal coach Gloria Rusch, who performed all over the world with such legends as Duke Ellington, George Duke, Chick Corea and Stevie Wonder among others, and she also did some acting on TV and in features. Unfortunatly he never met her as she passed away in January 2000 from Breast Cancer. His Grandpa is author (The Contempory Keyboardist), educator and musician John Novello, who still performs around the world and recently release an album with his group Niacin that is topping the jazz charts. His Father is film composer Patrick Griffin who just finished the last season of one of Tyler's favorite shows Dan Vs. (2011)! His mother a former (Arista recording artist), singer and actress is a now talent manager and producer, and is a 5 year Breast Cancer Survivor. Tyler has a big sister Naomi Griffin, who is also and actress, singer (she is in the award winning Jordan Middle School Cantabule choir) and Amazing artist.He Loves animals, having caught and raised 12 tadpoles into frogs, 21 caterpillars into butterflies, plus the 3 cats, 2 toads, 1 dog and a turtle...all under one roof with his sister! He loves to sing, dance, draw, watch Horror movies (when his parents let him, mostly the TV version), playing Mincraft & Slenderman and Archery is his sport of choice! His next challenge...making his own video game app!His first industry gig was a Living Spaces commercial alongside Ava Chelsea Ingram, and has been slowly but steadily working since then on Commercials for Oreo, Epson, Web Series and Pilots and to date his biggest most exciting job was working with Director James Wan shooting Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) which is scheduled be released in September, on Friday the 13th! He is soon starring in an exciting new "Horromedy" Series "Our Zombie Mother" starring and produced by the Awesome Maria Olsen,. who's production company 'MOnsterworks66', is producing alongside Patrick Griffin of Griffin Studios LA and 'Committed Artists Entertainment'.
