Tyler Gallant is an American born actor and former pro athlete, known most recently for films Poison Sky and Romans Road. Tyler was born in Boston, MA to Robert and Janice Gallant and brother to Ryan Gallant. Tyler has been involved in sports throughout his entire life, playing hockey, track and soccer. He began playing hockey competitively at the age of 13. In college, Gallant played hockey at St. Norbert College and ASU. After college he played almost 4 years professionally in the minor leagues with the Utah Grizzlies, Amarillo Gorillas, Arizona Sundogs, Odessa Jackalopes, Queen City Storm and Knoxville Ice Bears.Gallant's love for acting and film started at the age of 8, while making home movies with cousins. College presented a golden opportunity to revisit his passion for film more aggressively; he immersed himself in acting, theatre, film study and film critique classes. His first professional acting job was an ideal fit for Gallant - a national commercial, with a hockey theme, for Barbasol.To date, Tyler Gallant has acted and/or been a model in a wide variety of media: film, web series, shorts, commercials, print, promotions, and runway.
