Tyler DiChiara was born and raised in Staten Island. While still in high school, Tyler landed a leading role of Kai, a trans male, in the Independent Feature Film "Relish." Tyler hopes to be a voice for trans and LGBTQ youth. In an article in Variety, he made his message clear, "We need the trans youth - now more than ever - to see more of us in films, in professional careers, and doing things beyond negative stereotypes and projections."
