Tyler A. Johnson served in the Marines for five years, attaining the rank of sergeant. When he got out of the corps he went back to his hometown of Portland, Oregon where he got a college degree in Psychology. His senior year in college, he continued on his quest for adventure by going to flight school and getting his instrument rating in a single engine Cessna. A movie came to town starring Steve Zahn and Jennifer Aniston. Wanting to try his chance at getting an opportunity to be an extra on it, he landed the job of stand-in for Steve Zahn. Working with Zahn for 34 days on set, he found his love for the movie business. Noticing that so many things in it relate to the military.
