Tua Kealoha, the son of Lono and Apati Kealoha, is an American actor born in Honolulu Hawaii, who now resides in Utah. In his youth Tua was bullied, which led to gang involvement later in his life. When he was newly married and a young father struggling to make ends meet, he realized that the gang lifestyle was not the life he wanted to live. Tua found himself dreaming of something bigger for himself and his children. As he began setting life goals and creating positive opportunities he realized that the gang life no longer seemed so enticing, especially as he accomplished the goals he had set for himself. Tua started by creating his own business: providing security and bodyguard services. He became very successful in this endeavor which opened other doors for him. He also yearned to work with troubled youth which led him to opportunities where he proudly served as a motivational speaker. Lastly he wanted to become an actor, but as he relived the anguish of being ridiculed, he never thought of it as a real possibility. Acting was a lifetime dream, but he never imagined it as a reality. While working as a bodyguard, Tua attended the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah and was later approached by an associate casting director who asked if he was interested in auditioning for a movie that was directed by Michael Winnick. Tua later found out Steven Seagal was playing a starring role. After his first encounter on the set he fell head over heels for the acting craft and immediately started attending acting classes. He later signed with Broadway Artist Management where he has booked roles in Diedra and Laney Rob a Train, which was selected to premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, also Stella (2017), and numerous short films and commercials. Today Tua continues to work on his craft, always ready to acquire new methods or knowledge, while still seeking ways to encourage today's youth to follow their dreams.
