Trey Schesser was born William Edward Schesser III on 02 November 1984, in Wichita, Kansas, USA. His father of the same name was an Army officer, and his mother, Becky, was a nurse. They divorced when Trey was five years old after returning from his father's army post in Dorf Gull, Germany. He continued to grow up in Wichita, Kansas, with his mother and two brothers while his father moved around to different Army stations in the US.From a very early age Trey loved music, and could be found peddling his Tyco car around the neighborhood while wearing out the Rolling Stones Hot Rocks tape in his Sony Walkman. He excelled in academics, earning straight A grades in his 5th year of elementary school, and even taught a portion of a college algebra class at a local community college.Trey played the violin for three years before starting guitar at the age of 13. From then on he always dreamed of becoming a rock star. Around the same time he also started skateboarding, which was a popular sub-culture in the US in the early to mid-1990's. In 1998, he moved to Orlando, Florida to live with his father and stepmother. He continued to get good grades in middle and high school while simultaneously being a skateboarding hooligan after class. He broke his left ankle and right arm on two separate occasions skateboarding but always returned to the sport. He could be found playing guitar and skateboarding daily with friends, often times coming into conflict with security guards and police. However, he was never arrested and only detained on occasion, if he and his friends could not escape quickly. He tried to start a few rock bands while in high school but was never successful due to financial and logistical constraints.Trey also played high school football as a linebacker, wrestled, and participated in Marine Corps Junior ROTC. Outside of school he shot competitively on a Junior NRA small-bore rifle team, earning wins at various competitions.Trey attempted to get accepted to the US Military Academy at West Point but was turned-away. He had to get a medical waiver for a screw in his left ankle and it was too late to receive an ROTC scholarship, which kept him from going to the Virginia Military Academy where he was accepted. He was also accepted at The Citadel but did not attend due to lack of finances. Instead, Mr. Schesser attended the University of Central Florida for two semesters before dropping out and joining the army as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant in July of 2004.He attended US Army Infantry School, Airborne School, and then a prep course for Special Forces. It was there where the army pushed Trey to his mental and physical limits. He passed their selection course and attended their Qualification Course, earning his Green Beret and Special Forces tab in August of 2007.Trey then reported to 3rd Special Forces Group where he immediately deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In Tarin Kowt, Oruzgan, he met Christine Keller and started dating. They continued to date off and on until December of 2008, when they got engaged to be married. Trey deployed once more to Afghanistan in 2009 and got married when he returned home in September of the same year. Christine was in the Air Force and they could not be stationed together. They eventually moved in together in February 2011 in Orlando, Florida, after both of them got out of the active duty military.Trey continued to work part-time as a Special Forces Medic in the Florida Army National Guard and took several contracting jobs as a medical instructor. He successfully completed the treatment with a new view and hope in life. However, Christine and Trey continued to have relationship problems, and they separated in the summer of 2013. At this time, Trey was living with his good friend, Jack Lichlyter, in Navarre, Florida. Trey also made the decision to leave the military for good.At the end of the summer of 2013, he moved his possessions from his home in Wesley Chapel, Florida, to Orlando. He met and immediately began dating Michelle Melo. During the fall and winter he took IT classes, then worked as an IT technician at Florida Hospital in the spring and summer of 2014.
