Trey's acting career began at the Alhambra Theatre & Dining, the oldest Equity dinner theater still in operation in the United States. There he played the roles of Jeremy Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Michael Hobbs in Elf: The Musical.In 2019 he played Colin Craven at Virginia Stage Company's 30th Anniversary production of The Secret Garden.His film debut was in the PassionFlix feature The Will under the production of Tosca Musk.His skills as a singer and actor have been praised by Broadway World as they quoted, "Trey Murphy was astounding.
