Tré Melvin is an American actor, writer, producer, singer, songwriter, designer, poet, philanthropist, and YouTube personality. Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Melvin studied theatre and creative writing between grades 7 through 12 at Stivers School for the Performing Arts, and Business Marketing at the University of Cincinnati. He began acting professionally at the age of twelve, starring in a variety of stage plays, musicals, television commercials, short films, and radio spots.Widely known for his YouTube sketch, parody, social commentary, and short-form episodic programming, Melvin has accumulated over 7,000,000 (seven million) followers across all social platforms and more than 1,000,000,000 (one billion) video views worldwide. He has secured a plethora of digital media award wins and nominations, as well as being featured on outlets such as NBC News, Essence, BET, Jet Magazine, E! News, etc for his political activism and commentary.
