Tony is a multi award-winning independent filmmaker based in the north of England whose films have screened at internationally renowned festivals such as Fantasia, FrightFest and in competition at the BAFTA qualifying Leeds International Film Festival. In 2008 they formed MilesTone Films to create the cult zombie web comedy Zomblogalypse. The low budget, found footage series attracted critical praise for its subversive style and garnered fans in countries across the globe. The series ran for 4 seasons and a micro budget feature film adaptation is due for international release in 2022. In 2012 Tony co-wrote, co-edited and co-directed the independent micro budget feature, Whoops! The comedy horror premiered to sell out audiences at the Raindance Film Festival before being picked as the only British film for the national Raindance on Tour theatrical run in 2014 with Vue cinemas. Since then, Tony has produced numerous shorts, worked as the Video Producer for Young Thugs Records in association with EMI Records and co-starred in the fully improvised feature film Amber which is now available on VOD in association with the BAFTA winning production company, Mad as Birds Films. Tony's most recent project, an adaptation of 'Standing Woman' by internationally acclaimed author Yasutaka Tsutsui has been acquired by Alter and is screening at festivals now, including the academy award qualifying Deadcenter and HollyShorts.
