Born in Oceanside California, Tony Grant is the youngest of Four siblings. During the late 70's Tony's parents moved from Queens N.Y. to start a new life on the West Coast to avoid severe winters, crime and poverty. After a few years, Tony's parents separated and he moved back to New York City with his Mother Gia and his older sister Tiffani.Tony grew up listening and performing Hip Hop music in various local underground clubs in New York City. He also studied graphic design, film and TV in College. In the summer of 2002,he moved from New York to Atlanta where he later joined the Atlanta Police Dept as a sworn Police Officer.During the Spring of 2014, Tony was sought out by an old friend, Former NYPD Detective Jamie O'Connel. O'Connel needed advisory from an Atlanta Police Officer to assist with pre produciton for an upcoming Cop Thriller named "Triple 9." O'Connel introduced Tony to Line Producer Michael Flynn, Anthony Katagas and acclaimed director John Hilcoat. The meeting went well and Tony joined production of Triple 9 as a technical advisor and principle actor.
