Tony Fordham is a British based actor born and raised in London. His love of acting started at a young age but growing up where he did there was a stigma attached to the acting industry and because of this his dream of pursuing a career in acting was delayed until later on in life. Tony, upon leaving school fell into Market Trading in the heart of London, buying and selling anything he could get his hands on! Some would say a loveable rogue! From here he went into the construction industry and then on to be a doorman for many years. Tony enjoyed boxing whilst growing up and moved on to become a competitive body builder. His interests in these sports led him on to specialise in Kung Fu which is where he discovered a passion for Martial Arts. Tony continues to train in Martial Arts today and following his knowledge of this and boxing, has gone on to become a fight choreographer. When Tony moved to Canada it was his close friend and Actor, Tina Sterling, who encouraged him and gave him the drive to pursue his dream of a career in acting. He was fortunate enough to be cast in a few cameo roles whilst there, before returning to the UK. Upon returning to the UK Tony threw himself into the acting industry and landed a variety of roles, including lead Actor in Prison Food (Sony Pictures). Acting has also taken him to Germany, Amsterdam and most recently Los Angeles where he was lucky to be cast in LA Paranormal. Tony is looking forward to up and coming projects in 2011 where he will be filming scenes alongside Vincent Reagan (300) in Sure Fire Hit. He has also been cast in Superman Requiem and Welcome to Purgatory. In 2009 tony was lead Actor in Edios which won Best Film in the Swale Festival. Tony currently trains at the Actors Centre in London and whilst in Los Angeles attended Ivana Chubbuck classes.
