Tony Chung is an American actor and model known as the face of Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat 11. Chung was born in Lewisville, Texas, where his parents immigrated from Taiwan to pursue a higher education and start a family. Chung, along with his brother, was raised between Austin, Texas and San Jose, California before moving on to study Electrical Engineering on a full-ride scholarship at San Jose State University. Upon graduating, he pursued the music industry in Asia as a songwriter/performer, releasing two self-written albums in Asia. During a short vacation to NYC in Summer 2011, Chung was approached by a modeling scout at a boba shop in Lower Manhattan, eventually resulting in a successful career as a model. Throughout Chung's career as a male model, his image has been featured in myriad campaigns for global brands including H&M, Uniqlo, Remy Martin, and RayBan. During his modeling career, Chung reignited his interest in and passion for acting. Throughout the years, Chung has studied on-camera acting with esteemed instructors such as Bob Krakower and Terry Schreiber and practiced improv at Upright Citizens Brigade with Shannon O'Neill. Chung's notable works include being the face model for Sub-Zero in NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat 11 video game and as the founder of a tech startup in the global Remy Martin TVCM "Team Up For Excellence".Chung landed his first series regular role in The CW's Kung Fu reboot.
