After his breakthrough performance in Airbud, Tom "Tomcat" Hearn hung his acting hat and decided technology needed him. He attended the university of Michigan State where he received a bachelor of arts in Computer Science. His nickname "Tomcat" derived from his love and passion for the Linux operating system.
