Todd has dual citizenship in the United States and the United Kingdom.Part of Todd's early childhood was spent in Garforth, a small towne within the City of Leeds metropolitan borough, in West Yorkshire, England. Leeds is also home to many famous landmarks; the Corn Exchange, Leeds Castle, University of Leeds, Tom Wilkinson and Melanie Brown.Todd was a research writer on EastEnders (1985), which led to several feature treatment writing assignments with many up-and-coming British directors. Soon, an unaccredited rewrite on a final Rocky (1976) film came his way.Along with writer, director, producer Peter Paul Basler, Todd wrote the short film Death by Boxer (2008) that made its premiere at the Valley Film Festival in Burbank, California, and is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Guy A. Miller (aka Cosby) Screenwriting Programme. As a young lad, Todd performed at the Oldham Theatre Workshoppe with fellow classmate Marsha Thomason, and is a founding member of the underground Five Blokes and Two Birds improvisational comedy-theatre troupe of London.Opportunity enabled Todd to visit Los Angeles, California; he relocated a few years later, and has a few U.S. telly and (short) film (acting) credits and a couple of U.K. telly unaccredited appearances on ITV's Where the Heart Is (1997) and BBC's Brazen Hussies (1996).Todd is an avid scuba diver specialising in Wreck Penetration, and a former amateur kick-boxer.
