Former Aircraft Carrier Pilot and Airline Captain turned Actor, Todd Gunn was born in Loma Linda, California. His Dad an Anthropologist and his Mom a Professional Bartender, traveled the world with young Todd and his brother. They lived in such exotic locals as Fiji, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand and the Gilbert and Ellice Islands. They later settled New York where he attended the public school system. Todd credits this early phase of his life for giving him a life-long passion for Travel, International Films, Music, Culture and Theater.Back in the United States, Todd excelled in the Football, Baseball, and Boxing. He eventually relocated back to his family's "Irish Roots" that helped settle Mississippi. With the love and support of his Grandparents, he would later graduate from Bruce High School, Class of 1980.Todd then attended college at University of Mississippi. He continued his passion for Football and played Offensive Guard for the Ole'Miss Rebels. Sadly, significant injuries forced him off the field in 1981. It was at Ole' Miss that Todd began to take acting seriously. He was featured in various theater productions both in college and in summer stock. Not a quitter and needing an education, he worked various "unique" jobs. At 5'10" weighing 265 pounds he had little trouble dealing with the general public. He would also fight in the U.S. Navy.He graduated Ole Miss in 1985 with a BBA in Business and a minor in Theater.Shortly after college, Gunn enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Honorably discharged from active duty, he continues to hold an Indefinite Naval Commission for his special service and dedication to the United States of America. He became an Airline Captain in 1991. Flying worldwide for various Airlines both Foreign and Domestic, he Captained the Boeing 727, 737, 757, and 767 before retiring in 2008.He has since returned to his initial love as a Professional Actor and is also an expert consultant for Airline Flight Operations worldwide.
