Born in Australia to first generation Greek parents, Tina Kobas is heavily inspired by mythology and ancient Greek Theatre. She entered the arts as a gymnast and dancer and soon segued into acting. She is a graduate of the Actors Center Australia. Working on Australian film and television led to her desire to study her craft more meticulously. She was accepted into a Master Class program at The Lee Strasberg Institute, and Susan Batson's famed New York acting course, along with having the great fortune of being taught by Marcel Marceu. She found her time in New York to be creatively intoxicating and took a break from acting to launch a successful clothing line. She returned to acting in 2016 in Australian Theatre Company's award winning production of 'Speaking in Tongues' at the Matrix Theatre in Hollywood for which she received a Stage Scene LA award for 'Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role'.
