Tim France is an explorational historian, specializing in North and South American history from the Conquest era (16th century) through the early 20th century. While Tim can often be found researching old books, newspapers, maps and diaries, he is also often found traveling the old trails and visiting historical sites throughout the Southwest. He currently lives in Pahrump, NV, not far from Las Vegas. In his spare time, he is on the board of directors for the local historical museum, where he also helps by giving guided tours and assisting with new exhibits. Tim knows a wealth of stories, both truth and legends, from the American West that he shares with museum visitors as well as with family and friends. A lucky few get to join him on guided treks through the Nevada desert along old wagon routes, checking out long-gone mining campsites and towns in the state and hearing about the tales of the area along the way.
