Tia Noakes was born in Birmingham, UK on the 19th January 2000 and is a versatile actress/dancer/singer. At the age of four, Tia joined a local dance school where she won regional, national and international titles. Four years later after successfully auditioning, Tia became a student at Elmhurst School for Ballet, in Birmingham. In her first senior year (2011), Tia joined the cast of Oliver the UK tour, then went straight into filming her first TV commercial for ITV. In 2012, Tia landed her first West End lead role in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (original London cast), playing Veruca Salt, which lead to many exciting opportunities. With the cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, she performed on the world premiere (2013), the Royal Variety Performance, BBC's Children in Need, appeared on Channel 4's 'Sound of the Musicals' and recorded the Original London Cast soundtrack for the musical. In 2015, Tia was awarded the prestigious "Stage" newspaper scholarship. Shortly after, Tia announced she was featuring in her first feature film playing the role of 'Ash' in Just Charlie. In 2016 she won the Ant and Dec full Scholarship to continue her training at Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts. After studying and focusing on her GCSE's, Tia gained a world title at the Dance World Cup 2016 in Jersey, and recently appeared as 'Wanda Bishop' in the award winning BBC drama Doctors. In December 2016, Tia is returning to Birmingham to perform as "CAT" in Dick Whittington, at the Core Theatre in Solihull.
