Thomas' directorial debut, the Danish short "Opposite a Track", is planned to screen at festivals across Europe and the US this year. Thomas stars in the film opposite fellow actor and long time friend Hans Gordon Kennedy, with whom he has also written and directed. "Opposite a Track" is produced by 3 time Academy Award winner M&M Productions.In Denmark Thomas is best known for his Shakespearean endeavors. Together with House of Cards star Lars Mikkelsen, he won the prestigious stage award Aarets Reumert in 2008 (the Danish equivalent of the Tony Awards), for "best play in a small scale production", for their Shakespeare collage Muse of Fire. In 2010 they were once again nominated for Best play, for their all male production of Twelfth Night.Thomas has made appearances in several of the famed Nordic Noir television series, such as season 3 of The Bridge (Bron III), season 2 of The Inheritance (Arvingerne 2) and most recently, a recurring role in the new series Follow the Money (Bedrag).Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England, Thomas has a long list of credits behind him. Ranging from a small appearance in the HBO hit series Band of Brothers to playing a vast amount of roles at almost every theatre in Copenhagen. Along side his film and stage career, Thomas is also an avid voice over artist and has featured in a long list of Danish dubbed films, TV shows and cartoons. As well as acting in and directing Danish localized version of computer games, such as Skylanders and LEGO Dimensions.Since 2007 Thomas has been married to actress Linda Elvira and together they have two children.
