Thomas E. Bentley; A native son of West Texas Plains, Thomas E. Bentley was born in Big Spring. The youngest of five children, Thomas admits, "I had the greatest parents. They had four really good kids, but that last one, he was just plain wild."Moving to Dallas in his teen years, Thomas never fit into the mold of an average middle class American kid, so he set out to make his own path, riding and training horses. This led him to working live Wild West shows and equine operas and eventually to sport horses. His love of performing enticed him to films and television when a friend of his father's introduced him to several top Boss Wranglers, Stunt Coordinators and Directors. For more than 25 years, Thomas has been performing, coordinating and wrangling for major Hollywood productions. In addition to general stunt work, Thomas' specialties include equine stunts, stunt driving and motorcycle riding. Over the last decade, Thomas' duties have evolved from stunts to 2nd Unit Directing, and Director on numerous feature, series and commercial projects. He's a member of DGA & SAG-AFTRA and has produced a spec pilot called "Extreme Horseman".Thomas' BAM-Pictures (Bentley and Associates Motion Pictures, LLC) is currently in pre-production on a major independent feature that has attracted top talent and is in development on several other projects. Thomas lives in Forney, Texas with his wife Belinda, and when not on the set, trains horses and gives riding lessons at their stable. But... when the urge takes him, he's most likely on a Harley riding the open road.
