Theresa Bell has been in the film business since 1987 when she received her SAG card from Oliver Stone on Talk Radio (1988). She went on to work with Mr. Stone on two more films. She has also had speaking roles in over a dozen other film projects. She began her screen writing career in 1995 and has been recognized in three competitions for three different screenplays; most notably, the first Project Greenlight Contest, which selected her screenplay, Lullaby, to be in the top 30 out of 7,000 entries. Bell began coaching actors in 2001 and has watched many of them find success quickly. Bell wrote and produced the short film, Sweetwater (2005 short), based on one of her full-length feature scripts. Sweetwater starred Drew Waters, Patricia Campbell, Josh Duhon and Shannon Hughes. Bell also wrote and directed the short film Spark! (2012 short) for a 48 Hour Film Contest in Mississippi. Her actors Tamarah Murley and Jamie Elliott starred in this short which won the Best Cinematography Award at the 48 Hour Film Project ceremony in Jackson, MS and went on to be a selected screening at the Mississippi Sun and Sand Film Festival in 2012. Most recently, she wrote, directed and produced the short film, Lullaby, based on her feature script. Lullaby stars Molly Beucher, Gregory Joseph Connors, and Carson White. As of May 2015 Theresa is in pre-production on another short she will direct and perform in called Receptivity written by and starring Jared Tredway.
