When one thinks of New York City and in particular, Brooklyn, NY, one may automatically think of Coney Island or the great music mogul Jay-Z. Now, there's a young new face of greatness rising up to make a name for himself and the city that never sleeps.Theodore Benjamin Feldman's parents, Lori and Bradley, noticed his natural ability to play various character roles with an innate knack for doing impressions when Theo was just seven! After moving to Seattle for several years, the family returned to Brooklyn, where Theo sought out and discovered Mark Twain IS239 School For the Gifted and Talented where he was successfully admitted as an acting student and began his study of speech, character building, improvisation, script writing, strengthening his stage presence, and more.To no one's surprise, Theo excelled in his studies and has already earned credits performing in shows at Mark Twain like "The Pajama Game," "It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman!" and worked as an assistant director for "A Delightful Quarantine." You may also have enjoyed his work as a lead actor in performances of classics new and old like "Legally Blonde," "Peter Pan" and "Grease" at Camp Echo Lake in Upstate New York: a sleep-away camp he had attended since 2006.While Theo's tenacity and talent shine wherever he applies himself, his presence deserves much more spotlight than any leading or supporting acting credit he's acquired. He credits his instructor Peter DeCaro at Mark Twain for being the catalyst that shifted his love for being on stage to developing his knowledge of all behind the scenes magic that also benefit from his passion for production and keen eye for detail. In addition to acting on stage, Theo honed his skills in film production and editing at the New York Film Academy, and gained acceptance to one of the most prestigious private schools in New York City, Poly Prep Country Day School, where he pursues technical theater. During his time at Poly Prep, Theo was approached by a casting director and was invited to play a feature background role on the highly anticipated new CW series "The Carrie Diaries."Theo enjoys working with fellow artistic geniuses and is mature and professional both on- and off-set. He has even built relationships with top industry professionals and popular recording artists in the Music Business that he continues to support and work with. Theo proves each day that when you combine an innate talent with focus and determination to be the best and work hard to absorb knowledge- there's nothing you can't achieve!Theodore Benjamin Feldman is on file with almost every casting agency in NYC such as Central Casting New York, where he continues to book various feature background roles with credits including HBO's "Boardwalk Empire," his own short films, and other major network productions that have filmed in the New York City area. For more about Theo, visit TBFProductions.com.
