A native of Washington Illinois (near Peoria)- his full name is Terry Stroud Bratcher, he and his family live near Los Angeles California, in the San Fernando Valley. Stroud worked as a farm hand, door-to-door salesman, built Caterpillar tractors for a short while, owned and help work several quarter horses on the family farm, built and raced motorcycles. Attended college in Iowa-where he was active in theater. After that he headed west, ending up in Los Angeles California. He joined a small live theater company, in Tarzana, CA. He was introduced to the actor James Best and studied film acting and camera technique with him. After some career advice from fine-art gallery owner, Stroud paid a visit to Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, was later accepted and enrolled there. A lengthy and successful career in advertising and graphic design followed. His many years of acting, producing and directing for community theater, has been good fit for directing and producing industrial and marketing videos.
