Ted [for Ted Williams, may he rest in peace], is a native of Boston raised in Everett, Massachusetts and a long-time resident of Inwood, NYC. He is founder and producing artistic director of Moose Hall Theatre Company and Inwood Shakespeare Festival. Ted has directed 27 productions for ISF including over one third of the Shakespeare Cannon. Most recently writing, directing and producing Dracula! The Tale of Flesh and Blood at 13th Street Repertory Theater. Producer of 35 professional main-stage productions including ISF Free Opera in the Park's La Boheme & Don Pasquale (& His Trophy Wife) and 13 years of Free Children's Concerts. He has written eleven adaptations from classical literature including four original plays for the outdoor public venue. Ted is one the first honorees to receive the Uptown Arts Stroll Award for his contributions to the arts and efforts to bring excellent programming in uptown Manhattan, among an expanding line of uptown artists including Tony Award Winner, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Pulitzer-prize winning playwright Quiara Alegria Hudes.As an actor Ted has appeared for ISF, Expanded Arts Theatre, Cincinnatti Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Roundabout Theatre, New Dramatists, New York Shakespeare Festival's Public Theatre for Joseph Papp and many others. Some favorite roles; Othello in Shakespeare's (Othello), Richard in Shakespeare's (Richard the Third) and Andrew Aguecheek in Shakespeare's (12th Night or What You Will) for Inwood Shakespeare Festival. Hamlet in Shakespeare's (Hamlet) at Expanded Arts Theatre, Mowbray/Carlisle in Shakespeare's (Richard the Second) at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Oscar & Willie in Mary Gallagher's (¿De Donde?) at the New York Public Theatre. Lawrence in (Home Free) at The Roundabout Theatre. He has performed television roles on Miami Vice, All My Children, Another World, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and Saturday Night Live.
