Taylor Baugh ( a.k.a. Mary Elizabeth Baugh ) began performing at the age of 10 with the professional children's choir, the Carillon Choristers.She sang for royalty, celebrities, charities, benefits, special events, and recordings. Highlights included being the first American choir to place at the International Musical Eistedfod in Llangollen Wales, performing Gershwin with the Minnesota Orchestra, singing on jingles, and acting in her first commercial.In high school, under the guidance and direction of Sally Bublitz, she played Tessie Hutchison in the chilling short play, "The Lottey," Minnie Faye in "The Matchmaker," and Fred the Princess in the musical, "Once Upon a Mattress."She continued her pursuits in college studying with award-winning directors, actors, and news journalists at Normandale Community College and the University of Minnesota.Upon graduation, Taylor acted for theatre and summer stock companies in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. Professional theatre in the Twin Cities lead her to Chicago.Second City, The Organic Theatre, The Factory Theatre, The Bailiwick , and Stage Left were a few of the ensembles she performed with. After four years of solid theatre experience, she made the move to Los Angeles. A new chapter and a new name; in honor of her Grandma June Taylor.Taylor now resides in Los Angeles after a recent 18 month stay in New York City, and pursues all things on camera. Show less «
