As a child starring in Broadway musicals including Peter Pan, March of the Falsettos, and Evita, Taro gained a passion for music and acting. Living in Japan for many year continued to develop his songwriting and performance skills, culminating in his solo album "The Diamond You." A skilled writer, Taro is also the author of several best-selling books including "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life" and "Living Wabi Sabi."Taro imbues all his work with the intention to inspire hope, love, and joy in people's daily lives. Today, his books have sold more than one million copies, and have been published in eight languages, touching the lives of millions of people worldwide.Much like his years growing up, Taro Gold spends time spanning the globe from San Diego to Paris, and from London to Tokyo. Taro actively contributes his time and resources to make the world a better place, establishing a named scholarship for students in financial need at Soka University of America, as well as long-time support for The Trevor Project, the first national suicide prevention service for LGBT youth.
