Tammy Lynn Michaels was raised in Lafayette, Indiana, graduating from Lafayette Jefferson High School. She grew up with a keen interest and physical gift in the athletic arena (softball-pitcher, catcher, centerfield; basketball-point guard; volleyball-setter) from an early age. She played sports for each of her schools growing up. Later Tammy's interests grew from the sports arena, to include the theatrical arena as well, even performing leads in musicals, and jazzing her hands in her show choirs with "Bright Eyes!!". Tammy moved to NYC upon high school graduation, attending a conservatory where she was trained in everything from dialects, to ballroom dance, to Stage Combat. In 1998, Tammy's national debut was shilling odor-absorbing tampons. However, it was in 1999, in her role as "Nicole Julian", that introduced us all to Tammy's genius comic timing, and found Tammy relocating to Los Angeles. Following the ending of her first series, Tammy guest starred in several episodes of "The L-Word", many episodes of "The 80's Show" and a few music videos. In 2005, Tammy landed a regular role on the series, "Committed". Throughout 2001-2009, Tammy traveled the world as a laundress for a successful band during this time, even though she only played Cowbell. In 2009, Tammy took a sabbatical leave from the band so that she could focus on the changing elements of her life.Update: Tammy has retired from professional pretending, and now enjoys her career as an artist at Hollywood Farm Girl, Inc. I hate lying. The whole thing drove me to go into therapy. But as awful as the closet was, it protected a vulnerable side of me, if that makes any sense. Show less «

I've partied with the farmers, I've partied with the famous.... Sometimes I think the farmers are more fun. I know they're better cooks. Everything is exactly as it needs to be. We need to accept that, and focus on the lesson within the challenges - not focus on how to get done with the challenge itself. Show less «
