Takehiro was born in Japan as a son of an actor's family. Both of his parents are well-known actors in Japan. Takehiro went to high school and college in the U.S.. He received a bachelor's degree from Brown University in the class of '97. He has appeared in a numerous productions of television dramas, films and theatre.
