Suzy Lopes began her career in stage, in João Pessoa (capital of Paraíba, state in northeastern Brazil), when she was a teenager, in 1990s. She acted in many short films in Paraíba. Her first feature film was O Sonho de Inacim - O Aprendiz do Padre Rolim (2010). Her film career has grown in recent years: in 2018, she was in Sol Alegria (2018).
