Susanne grew up close to Vienna, Austria. Right after high school she started working at the prestigious "Volkstheater" in Vienna. On the big screen she gained international attention with a leading part in the feature "Antares".'Antares' (dir: Goetz Spielmann) not only became Austria's submission for the Academy Awards in 2005 (Best Foreign Language Film), but was also invited to more than 30 International Film Festivals and got her nominated 'Best Young Leading Actress/Drama' for the European Young Talent Award "Undine" in 2005.She has continued working with various acclaimed directors since then, such as Wolfgang Becker, Olivier Assayas, Jessica Hausner, Anders Ronnow Klarlund, Franz Xaver Kroetz and Peter Kern.
