Susan Elizabeth Shaw is an American actress living in Los Angeles. She began acting onstage at thirteen and originated the role of PJ, an artistic street kid, in "Gabriel's Song." She moved to Los Angeles as a teen, young for her grade and finishing early with school, to study acting at the USC School of Dramatic Arts. Professional acting credits include the feature film "Chasing Tchaikovsky," in which she plays a young artist photographer, the teenage daughter of Russian immigrants. She also plays Thea in the tragic, coming of age story "The Awakening of Spring," reimagined for film by Arthur Allan Seidelman. She has since worked on a slew of independent productions. Her childhood and adolescence was spent as an "Army Brat," moving often and living many different stories in her own life. Vulnerability and heart centered work are cornerstones for the stories she tells now. The understanding of our connectedness, even though we may appear to be different, was a lesson learned at an early age. She is passionate about rescuing and helping cats and dogs, and hopes one day to save them all.
