Suliana Gonzalez is a Latina television entertainer born in Zacatecas, Mexico, where she experienced a very happy childhood. At the age of seventeen, Suliana's family moved to Los Angeles, California, where she graduated from Lynwood High School and then studied for two years as a student at Cerritos College, with an interest in international business. As she was attending college, Suliana participated in a beauty pageant in Los Angeles and was crowned Miss Zacatecas 1997. That success garnered an invitation to participate in the Miss Mexico beauty pageant and she was crowned Miss Mexico 2000. As Miss Mexico, Suliana had many responsibilities such as participating in fund raising events for non-profit organizations and support charities. Upon completing her year as Miss Mexico, Suliana was offered the opportunity to be an entertainment reporter for "Los Angeles en Vivo", a local mid-day television show on KRCA Channel 62. This full-time position prevented Suliana from continuing with her college career and she chose instead to take journalism courses with the UCLA Extension Program in 2001. In 2003 Suliana was named entertainment anchor for KCRA's prime-time newscasts, presenting celebrity news stories on air. In 2004, Suliana participated in a comedy show call "Como TV's" on Channel 22 in Los Angeles where she had the opportunity to exercise her acting skills through roles in numerous comedy sketches. Her most popular and memorable role was her comedic representation of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo.Being a regular on "Como TV's" opened many doors for Suliana, one of which was an invitation to do celebrity interviews for "Cotorreando", a celebrity news show on the Telemundo Network .Suliana also became the co-host on the morning show "De Todo un Poco" on Channel 22 in Los Angeles, with Omar Fierro, Fernando González, Teresa Sarabia and Adriana Yañez. Simultaneously, Suliana worked in radio, on an entertainment program called "La Capirotada" at Radio Visa in Sherman Oaks, Ca. Since 2005, Suliana has been a correspondent with Maria Celeste Arrarás on the nationally syndicated TV show "Al Rojo Vivo on the Telemundo Network, where she produces and writes her stories. As a journalist, Suliana has had the opportunity to interview many world-class celebrities from the world of entertainment, including Andy Garcia, Johnny Depp, Clint Eastwood, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Guillermo Del Toro, Alfonso Cuaron, Colin Farrell, Eva Longoria and Jamie Fox. Suliana has been a guest speaker/instructor for the UCLA Extension Program, sharing her experience in the entertainment industry with other students. She also keeps her hand in the world of beauty pageants and has worked with more than 20 candidates in such pageants as Miss Nayarit, Miss Mexico and Miss Zacatecas. Suliana is a single mom of two beautiful kids, Natasha and Gianfranco, her two angels and the inspiration of her life.Suliana loves acting and hosting television shows and dreams of one day having her own entertainment or talk show and of being cast in major roles for television and films.
