Susan Westlund Hopkins was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in February 1953. As a teenager, became a member of a Rock and Roll band playing keyboards and singing while traveling to various venues throughout the Greater Cincinnati area and surrounding areas. As a young woman she decided to go into the medical field and began working as a Medical Assistant at a major hospital in Cincinnati. That job started a long career as a Cardiovascular Technologist and EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) spanning 35 years. Music and performing has always been a big part of her life and that love of performing carried her into the field of acting after her retirement from medicine in 2010.Susan is happily married to her high school sweetheart (for the second time) and has one daughter, son-in-law, and two handsome grandsons that are talented drummers themselves along with their dad.
