After working as an actor for from ages 6 to 20, Stuffy found his calling in the world of sports. He won the Los Angeles city tennis tournament, was ranked nationally in table tennis, was an all-league football quarterback, and had become a pro baseball player at 19. At 19, he learned to play handball and decided that was his sport. After winning the southern California title within two years, he advanced to win the national singles title at 26. He went on to win the world singles championship, five years no doubles championship, three Canadian national singles championships. A greater record would've been achieved how do you not undergone six major surgeries during his playing career including three knee surgeries in three Achilles tendon surgery.
