Originally a child actor, Stuart's many credits included the BAFTA & Emmy award winning The Politician's Wife with Juliet Stevenson, Plastic Man with John Thaw and Tom's Midnight Garden for MGM.In 2004 he became a producer, producing West-End theatre, and was appointed a general manager at production company Cole Kitchenn Ltd overseeing their productions with Guy Kitchenn, including Death of a Salesman starring Brian Dennehy & Clare Higgins.As a producer in his own right his productions have included Nicholas Hoult in New Boy, Phill Jupitus in Lifecoach, Caroline O'Connor in The Showgirl Within and the annual Whatsonstage Awards shows.In 2006 he established actor's agency Cole Kitchenn Personal Management Ltd, representing a select list of leading actors and creatives.In 2010, the company merged to become part of The ROAR Group, with Jonathan Shalit as Chairman, and Stuart Piper appointed as Managing Director. The agency now represents some of Britain's most instantly recognizable names in Television, Film and Theatre.He is married to actress Robyn North, and they have a son, Charlie born January 2010.
