Steven James Griffiths was born in the United Kingdom and as a young child moved around due to his father Peter Griffiths being in the Royal Air Force, spending a brief period on the island of Cyprus. He has one sister, Samantha, who is three years older than him, and one half-brother Nathaniel who is 22 years younger than him. His mother Suzanne unfortunately died from cancer when he was just 10 years old. Once his father left the Royal Air Force the family settled down in a small town, Bourne, Lincolnshire, UK, where he attend the Bourne Grammar School. Following high school he attend college for a brief period before dropping out. Steven spent some time working for Blockbusters before joining the army as an aircraft technician for the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, where he did 2 tours of Iraq. Steven has always been interested in writing and making films, spending much of his teenage years making small movies with his friends. He has since left the army and is now at university studying film and television production at Carlisle University, UK, spending his holidays with his father and stepmother Karen.
