Steven Shaw is a New York City native, currently residing in Manhattan. He has been involved in the NYC film & theatre scene for the past 15 years. Starting his early career as a print model succeeding to be a cover model, Steven had success in the entertainment industry at a very young age.Since then he has worked with such establishments as the Mac Wellman Theatre Festival working closely with prestigious director Tim Farrell as well as the Independent Film Festival Market with New Jersey Motion Picture Film Commissioner David W. Schoner, Jr. From the Here Theater to Playwrights Horizons, Steven has directed a broad spectrum of NYC theater.Steven's career has also led him to direct outside of the theater world in Regional Commercials, Infomercials, Stand-up comedy, Industrials, as well as Music Videos. Being a professional working actor in such projects as Murder Reincarnated (distributed by York Entertainment - 90 minutes), which was Winner Best Picture/Audience Award at Sarasota, Sedona, Mexico, Garden State and a Official Selection at New York Latino, Miami Latino, Chicago Latino, Palm Springs, Film Stock London; has allowed Steven to further enhance his connection to actors as he directs them.
