Steve was born on the East end of beautiful Long Island, NY. The son of a child actor (His Father Ricky) and a teenage model (his mother Kathleen). Both parents gave up their respective crafts before the birth of their 2 children, Steve wouldn't learn that his passion for the arts were likely genetic until long passed his father's untimely death into his adult life. Leaning toward being a vocalist, Steve studied bel canto for many years as a basso Profundo (the lowest register of an operatic bass). It wasn't until a life altering, freak accident left him in a coma did he consider acting. This was because the same doctors who would save his life, would cut his vocal cord seriously changing [what he thought] his life's plan [would be]. Unable to vocalize (in either song or speech) and not knowing if he ever would, he decided to enroll in acting school in Manhattan, NY. At the encouragement of trainers and teachers, he would continue honing his craft while at the same time trying to rehabilitate his voice. Through 2 vocal surgeries, countless hours of therapy and what Steve refers to as a Divine intervention from God, he not only learned to speak again with volume, but regained his vocal chops as well.
