"Steven Hitchen was born 28th November 1976 in Salford, England. He is the Head of Recruitment for Tottenham Hotspur.A former defender, he played for Blackburn Rovers and Macclesfield Town before becoming a football talent scout. Steven's career at Tottenham Hotspur began as a part-time European scout and he reportedly played a part in the signings of Luka Modric and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.Hitchen joined Liverpool in 2010, teaming up with former Tottenham Hotspur director of football, Damien Comolli. During his time at Liverpool the team signed Luis Suárez.
