Steve Fleming was born in Ireland in 1970 and expressed huge talent as an artist at an early age. By the time he was 12 he was winning art competitions out of his age bracket and selling oil paintings to obtain the means to support his passion. After moving back to New York for the second time, he decided to change from telling stories on canvas to giving them life on film. He enrolled himself into the New York Film Academy and started writing screenplays such as "Last Call" a story about a night in the New York bar scene, "My Brother's Keeper" a cross between northern Ireland's I.R.A. and New York's Irish mafia (The Westies) and now "Ellis Island" a heartwarming story of adventure and hard times of an Immigrant during World War I. Steve presently owns a successful bar/restaurant named Cannon's Blackthorn, which is located in Rockville Centre, New York since 1998. The stories told in his establishment are what originally prompted him to start writing "Last Call" and he has been writing ever since. Show less «
