Stefano Capone was born and raised 'Stephen Cooney' in Boston, Massachusetts, and considers himself to be an actor on a mission. And that mission is to be the very best he can possibly be. Aside from acting, Stefano enjoys weight lifting, aerobics, kick-boxing, swimming, bicycling, and writing. He is 6'1", 220 lbs,, has Gray hair, and can reasonably play characters between the ages of 48 and 65 years old.As he likes to say, his acting career first began in the Marine Corps. Having run into some problems after the second year of his hitch, and knowing that he had to really impress his Commanding Officers, Stefano would wake up each morning and pretend he was in a movie. This (pretend) movie was about the U.S. Marines, and he was in the starring role as the very best Marine in The Corps. Each and every day he would wake up and go though his routine, playing his role as though he were in a big time Hollywood film. And when the dust finally settled (and after many, many scenes in this pretend film of his), he landed himself a position as the Point Man for the 'Marine Corps Super Squad', which is comprised of the top thirteen Combat Marines in the entire U.S.M.C. Two parades later (one in the U.S. Capitol, and one on Oahu, Hawaii), Stefano found himself not only with a highly coveted Gold Medal on his chest, but also recognized as the top Point Man in the entire U.S. Marine Corps; the recipient of numerous (meritorious) promotions and citations; training troops; meeting with the Commandant (General Wilson) in Washington, D.C.; and basically with an open ticket to whatever he wanted to do for the rest of his hitch. He refers to this (Super Squad) role as his very first 'Oscar Winning Performance'.After separating from the Marines in 1976, Stefano was asked by a hippie friend what he was going to do now that he was no longer an active duty Marine. He simply said, "I think I'll become an Actor." That very day he was at his first audition, for a role in the Gershwin Musical 'Girl Crazy'. After a self-imposed hiatus of well over twenty years, Stefano came back to his first love and passion about five years ago. Trained in the Stanislavsky method of acting. Show less «
