Stacy Thunes was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Marin County, Northern California. Her first play was Oliver! when she was 11 and from then on, she dreamed of being an actress and living in England. Her wish actually came true and since 1982 she has been living on and off in Germany, the US, and England. In Germany, she became a member of the ensemble at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin, which was part of the former East. She also sang in an all-girl rock band called The Lewinskys that went on to win the Mecklenburg County Rock Festival in 2001. She has won prizes for her songwriting and has performed Shakespeare in a German dialect called Plattdeutsch. Show less «
