Spike Jefferson is known for High Water and Hotel du Cap, and also for Channel Four's Sven, The Coach, The Cash, and His Lovers, since he had a successful career as lookalike for Sven-Goran Eriksson, the England coach. Other successes include playing the judge who sentenced (the innocent) Timothy Evans in Murder Maps and, by contrast, sensitive performances as grandfather in short films Friend Request and The Woods.
