Throughout her youth, Skye knew in her heart she was destined for the stars. But even a bright-eyed girl like her, with all the confidence to take on the world, found it difficult to compete against childhood tribulations that would test her to the core. Thankfully, while in high school, she stumbled upon a small theatre on the South side of Chicago called A Ray of Hope and joined their ensemble. That's when she emerged from her cocoon of depression due to mental abuse and blossomed into a spirited "social butterfly." Through acting, she quickly found solace in skillfully evoking a range of emotions, as her therapeutic catharsis. Skye's personal joy as an actor is tantamount to experiencing love at first sight again and again with each scene and character. She desires to be a catalyst for joy, lighting the way for others also stuck in dark places. Skye graduated from Ohio University's School of Theatre with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and immediately migrated to North Hollywood, California. There, she works as an actor, model, and social media expert under her entrepreneurial name, "Social ButterSkye." Whether on stage, or in front of the camera, doing commercials, comedy or combat, Skye likes to remain a humble and grateful sponge, absorbing loads of knowledge to perfect her craft.
