Sirry was born in a small town in Iceland called Keflavik. At the age of 16 she moved to Reykjavik to go to college. Her college experience was short-lived, and after only a year she decided to drop out and move to Spain to study Spanish. Her next few years were spent traveling around Europe and Central- and South-America. In 2001 she came back to Iceland where she was offered a part in an Icelandic film called U.S.S.S. and after that there was no going back.
