Simone was born in Vientiane, Laos and moved to Australia with her mother at the age of one. Growing up in many areas throughout Victoria with her mother. It was during her primary school years at the age of 6 she got her first taste of drama classes at St Joseph's Primary where she was taught drama and performance at a young age. St Joseph's Catholic Primary School. Her stage days began early, having performed at church during poignant days in the biblical calendar she also sang and performed in the yearly Christmas Choir. It wasn't until her early twenties however she picked up the taste for performance again and received a one year scholarship at St Martin's Theatre in Victoria, Australia. Before her scholarship she had already been training in Hapkido at The International Hapkido Federation/Universal Peace Academy as martial arts was something she aspired to do having come from quite an athletic up bringing which included tennis, soccer, high jump, long jump, elastics and gymnastics. Not encouraged to pursue either sports she turned to dance until finally hitting the mats at martial arts schools. In between her years before deciding to pursue acting Simone worked in an array of jobs including podium dancer at a night club, assistant manager at night clubs, cocktail bar waitress, McDonalds counter girl, sous chef, office assistant and sales consultant to name a few. Other than the array of jobs in her history all of which says 'It all adds up' she still continues to dance and take part in martial arts where and when she can.
