Simon spent his very first night (aged only 6 weeks) with his parents, who had to collect him from hospital on a day that they were in theatre. Driving all the way across the country and back in one day they left him in his basket "in the wings". There he remained silent for the first and last time in his life!Thus; with the theatre, truly in his blood, Simon acted throughout his childhood until his 20's. He attended Drama School from 1979-84 achieving Distinction & Honours in all relevant New Era Academy and Guildhall Disciplines.Listening to his father, he became "Mr Corporate" for a decade; before the inexorable draw of performance, pulled him back to acting, first in theatre around the turn of the century and for the last few years beginning his assault on Radio, Voiceover, Film and TV work.Revelling in physical roles, Simon is a Professional Comabat Performer, in armed & unarmed weapon systems from ancient history to the present day. An experienced horseman & swordsman he trains and performs regularly. He also has recently completed a Rallycross & Stunt Driving course. Holding Full Motorbike & Car Licences, he is an experienced and competent driver. He's also a PADI Master Scuba Diver to add to his versatile skill sets. Show less «
