Siegfrid Calizo was born in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. At the moment, he is based in Glasgow, Scotland. He is fluent in English, Tagalog and Visayan. He is from a Spanish & Chinese descent. Siegfrid is the only son of a respected General of the Army, General Romeo V Calizo and Politician, The Honourable Mary Cor Reyes Calizo. He is the middle child between two sisters Sharille & Sophia Calizo.His love for acting began to blossom at the age of 16 when he played the lead theatre role of Mario, a Filipino soldier who was beheaded during Japanese regime in the Philippines held at the AFP Theatre for their Digmaan production in 2003, this turned into a true passion at the age of 17 when he became the President of their Filipino Arts Club Lakas Wika of GCIC where he won two Best Actor Trophies in acting competitions while taking up a medical course in his college years. He became a licensed nurse in 2007 and moved to Dubai with his older sister in 2009 where he received a scholarship to study in Liverpool, England by 2011.In 2012, he moved to London where he started acting in TV commercials for leading brands such as Adidas, Google, Hilton, Durex, Fedex, Cornetto, Telefonica & Pfizer. Siegfrid has portrayed challenging characters with different British productions both on screen and on stage. He moved to Glasgow, Scotland in 2014. He recently filmed an advertisement for the Scottish Government Road Safety Campaign & has been involved in Scottish musical productions. Show less «
