Sid Suicide, a name granted to her when becoming a SuicdeGirl, in 2004. She also goes by Sidney-Kay for cosplay projects, however her real name is Kayla. Using the name Sid is just second nature to her. A nickname given to her years ago from family members, she performs under that name a lot just because it's easier to sign as an autograph in or on various SuicideGirls merchandise, etc.Sid grew up in Rhode Island, went to high school in Cranston, and went on to Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where she graduated in 2007 with a degree in Music Business - specializing in Venue/Tour Management & Contracts. Later that year, she moved to Colorado to marry now former Army Veteran, Trevor. They still live there with their dog Penelope (mostly called Penny), their 2 cats Nyx (the grumpy old MaineCoon that Sid adopted while in college) and Phoebe (also known as "Kitten", and is part Bengal, so she's extremely weird and entertaining). They also have 2 red-eared slider turtles, Carrot (the female) and Cucumber (the male) who seem to have kept 2 unnamed fish as their own pets instead of eating or chasing them. But they are also always traveling to a handful of Comic Conventions across the country. They can often be found attending Denver Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con, San Diego Comic Con, WonderCon, and Stan Lee's LA Comic Con. These are the favorites to attend.Sid has been featured in books, international magazines, international television shows, podcasts, YouTube videos, and acting as a post-apocalyptic radio announcer, and as of October, she's going to be a character in a comic book called "Barbarians" by Nathanial Hamel.
