Sian was raised in Leicester, however her acting career began in Manchester in 2010.One of Sian's first jobs was in the Edinburgh Festival smash 'The Degenerates', a two hander produced at C Venues. Returning to Manchester, Sian became involved in many new writing projects and festivals. She even tried her hand at producing, after being approached by Trevor Suthers to take on his hard hitting play 'Cut it Out' in which she also played Claire. During her time in Manchester, Sian took on the role of Amber in 'Asylum of Grace'. Set in the early 80's, Amber was subjected to domestic and psychological abuse by her mother in law, and consequently ended up in an Asylum after her attempted suicide. The play was incredibly well received, receiving a host of rave reviews.Not long after this Sian moved to London, and was soon awarded Best Female Actor by Pot Kettle Black Productions for her performance in their summer production 'Retardo'.As part of The British New Wave season on BBC Radio 4, Sian played Doreen Greatton in Alan Sillitoe's famous gritty kitchen sink drama 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning', alongside Joe Dempsie and Sarah Smart.Sian has also starred in award winning Web Series 'Year of Spies', and 'Doctor Who' audio spin-off for BBC Children in Need. TV work includes 'Hollyoaks', 'Doctors' and Lionsgate Production 'The Royals', as well as many independent films. Show less «
